Poetry 101

Poetry 101 In-Person

In this poetry workshop, participants will learn about the generative powers of received forms. Whether you're an experienced poet or someone who wants to try something new, this workshop will introduce a few different poetic forms (think haiku and villanelle) and talk about how to use them to create new writing you might not have thought you had in you. We will have time to test out some forms and share what we create. Everyone should walk away with something new!
