Canadian Authors Series: Story Arc Workshop

Canadian Authors Series: Story Arc Workshop In-Person

In this three-hour workshop, Frances Boyle will help writers navigate the construction of a story, exploring the elements of a strong narative arc that can keep readers engaged from a compelling beginning through to a satisfying end. We will also look at several different story structures as alternatives to the classic arc, and do some brief writing exercises. While the focus will be on short fiction, the workshop should also be useful to those writing a novel.
