Facer Street: A Grateful History Author Talk

Facer Street: A Grateful History Author Talk In-Person

Through a combination of stories, photos, newspaper articles, and personal experiences, historian Stan Skrzeszeski is able to bring Facer Street's colourful history to lfe in his new book, Facer Street: A Grateful History.

From the native influence to being defined as the foreign quarter, to Facer's first major spurt of growth, 1913-1939, and onward to the near present, this book looks at how people lived, what they talked about, what they did for a living, and what they did for fun.

Books will be available for purchase ($30.00) after a presentation and discussion.
