CANCELLED Butter Honey Pig Bread with Future Black Female In-Person
This is program has been cancelled due to extenuating circumstances. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.
Celebrate Black literature with this special book club event presented by Future Black Female and St. Catharines Public Library. Join us to discuss Butter Honey Pig Bread by Francesca Ekwuyasi.
Butter Honey Pig Bread is an intergenerational saga about three Nigerian women: twin sisters, Kehinde and Taiye, and their mother, Kambirinachi. It is a story of choices and their consequences, of motherhood, of the malleable line between the spirit and the mind, of finding new homes and mending old ones, of voracious appetites, of queer love, of friendship, faith, and above all, family.
