Saving Seeds

Saving Seeds In-Person

Seed saving is an important practice that helps preserve culture, biodiversity and local food security.  Kick off your growing season by learning how to save seeds!  In this workshop you’ll learn about the benefits of saving your own seeds, about different types of seeds, how and when to collect them and store them, and about fantastic networks for sharing seeds with others. This workshop is led by Erin Riseing, the Community Growing Programs Coordinator for the Niagara Community Garden Network.
