Editing for Clarity and Grace: An Advanced Online Course In-Person
This advanced editing course rarely mentions points of grammar—those, it assumes you already know. Instead, it teaches how to write fluid, concise prose where every word counts, the logic is tight, and—for storytellers—the readers are sparked to imagine much of the scene. It’ll teach you how to strip out redundances (both explicit and implicit), trivia, and irrelevances and to spot and cure your own wordy, formulaic tendencies. You’ll also learn how and where to create emphasis within sentences and paragraphs. Recommended for students and writers of short stories, novels, reports, and articles.
